Welcome to Mildura South Kindergarten and welcome aboard to your child’s kindergarten journey.
I would like to introduce myself Juli-Anne, Margot, Gemma, Tanya, Nicole Liz and Sue to our 2020 families. We all enjoy teaching young children, and guiding them through their first years of formal education. Between the ages of 0-8 years, children learn at such a rapid rate, they go from being totally dependent on their parents to independent people who are seeking further knowledge and experience.
All of our staff are Vic Asthma trained and have current Level II First Aid Certificates. Juli-Anne completed a Food Handling Course in 2005 and Juli-Anne, Tanya and Gemma are Asthma and Anaphylaxis trained. We all regularly attend relevant professional development in-services. In 2007 Juli-Anne undertook Brain Gym training and has incorporated Brain Gym into the daily routine.
Mrs Juli-Anne Koch is the educator for Group 1, and Currants. This is Juli-Anne’s 17th year with us. Juli-Anne has completed a Diploma of Children Services (Early Childhood Education) and Advanced Diploma of Children’s Services. Juli-Anne is currently completing her Bachelor of Early Learning. Juli-Anne is married and has two young daughters named Bethany and Trinity. Juli-Anne’s interests include car and go kart racing, photography reading and watching movies.
Tanya Antonie began at Mildura South Kindergarten in January 2018 and is the assistant educator in Group 2. Tanya has a diploma in Early Childhood Education and began working in this field as a KIS worker, in 2009, and has been working as an Assistant Educator since 2011. Tanya is married and has a daughter Bree and son Lachlan. Her interests include reading camping and movies.

We are all looking forward to steering your child through the Early Years Learning Framework, guiding and nurturing them all the way. Your child is our first priority! We all plan a quality curriculum.
Parents, we encourage you to ask questions, express concerns and talk about your child’s development program with his/her teacher, this enables your child to get the most out of his/her kindergarten years. We value every child’s individuality and will willingly assist parents with situations that they may come across regarding their child. Please make an appointment to talk with your child’s qualified educator.
The Early Year’s Learning Framework is on display on the notice board, please make the time to read. Any ideas, questions or offers of help are greatly appreciated.
As each child learns to belong to a group, be ther person they are and become their best self.
All staff welcomes Parents to our Kindergarten, a place where we enjoy working and educating your children.
